You Create The Reality That You Experience
I've always been considered fairly good looking and about 5 years ago, my hair started thinning. This led me to become very paranoid about my looks. I invested a lot of time and money into trying to keep it looking as nice as it did when it was thick and curly when I was a teenager.
Finally, last fall, the day before I left for Japan, I shaved it. I then let it grow back in slightly but kept it cut very close. You can clearly see that it is balding. When I cut it, it was incredibly liberating. An amazing feeling of freedom. For me, short hair is customary in the spiritual practices that I do and it's also a fashion statement so it works both ways for me. When I cut it, I wasn't thinking about women but preparing for a personal journey.
You know what? That was 8 months ago and I've never let it grow back. I love the way it looks now and I get a LOT of compliments. I look back at some modeling pictures I did a few years ago when I had very thick hair and I just think "That was then, this is now..." its a different look but equally good. I have not yet had a girl say: "I can't be with you, your hair is thinning." That whole notion was an ILLUSION to me. It was only reality because I accepted it as such in my mind.
I tell you this for a reason. You create the reality that you experience, it can be said "reality is that which you realize."
Onward...
Women respond more strongly to how a man presents himself, how he is dressed, and how he makes her feel. This is great news for us, guys. Us men are more simple and respond to visual stimuli ie. looks which makes things more competitive for women.
This means you can change how good looking you are. How you dress and how you carry yourself makes all the difference.
If you're overweight, lose weight.
If you're clothes are mismatched, get a new style.
If your hair is unkempt, invest in an expensive haircut...(Or shave it)
But you MUST DO SOMETHING!!!
Take care of yourself and the world will respond to you in ways you never thought possible.
So now take this opportunity to get up and go take some action.
Good luck,
DJ
