With special thanks to my closest friends who have brought me on this journey of self reinvention and realiasation i have finally cracked a second date.
I'll tell you the story in brief:
We were all catching up to celebrate a friends birthday at a local club. We were sitting around having a chat when on the couches beside us another group were also catching up for a few drinks. A girl sat down beside me and she was beautiful. I thought to myself, ok here is my chance to try some lines out.
I turned to her and blanked out. I didnt say a thing but I did catch her eye.
The little hamster in my head started to run, and I thought to myself, just give it a go! Whats the worse that could happen, we are all in a social environments so I turned to her again and said : "Are you all catching up for a friends birthday?" ... as simple as that. I knew that I could hold a conversation on the topic as that was why we were all there, for our friends birthday.
You know what. She was there for her friends birthday! It was as simple as that. The next thing you know we were talking for the next couple of hours.
I geuss its not exactly a pickup line but I used the reality approach. I knew the topic as it was true.
It was getting late and we were both starting to get tired. She said she was going, I had her phone number by this stage, so I offered to walk her outside to catch a cab. Once outside I turned to her and said "Do you want to grab a coffee", kinda knowing there wasnt anywhere open to get a coffee. We walked around the city for a little while looking for a coffee shop to no avail.
She offered to make me a coffee at her place. We went back to her place and the next thing you know we were in bed together. I'm thinking to myself, we are really getting along. So instead of going the full nine yards I decided to play hard to get. I said "There will be plenty of time for sex down the track, lets just kiss and chat". I think that really turned her on.
We went out for breakfast the next morning and I had to go into work for awhile in the afternoon. She dropped me off at home and since then we have had our second and third dates, so the sky's the limit!
I am no longer sexually frustrated :)
