This is an actual real choice i have to make in my life.
If you had to choose bewteen a job that you find fasinating or a job that you find Dull but get paid twice as much as the first choice. What whould you choose?
You can neg her about being more materialistic, than passonate. (all 3 girls sayd money talks.)
or neg her for having no ambition.

I have used it 3 Times. Every girl i used it on got suck into the conversation. and TOTALLY wanted to tell me what they thought. Also one girl told me a story about what her choices where.
I know if my skills where better. I tottally could have taken her two different girls home.

Interesting opener but I suppose you should have a story ready if she asks why you're asking.
Nice one. This opener seems very original, and the situation very is believeable. I think it will work well. You said that this is a situation you actually faced, so if a girl asks why your asking it, you have something to go by (eg. i'm faced with a very similar situation, and i'm somewhat torn between love or money). Nice work

Very intresting opener. The questtion of what is more important money or emotions is a real good topic for girls. They love talking about this.

nice one, you can transition into talking about what she wants to do in the future, what she wanted to be when she was a little kid or what makes her famous

I love this one. It does so many things at one. You make her qualitfy herself to you. You show high value. You show her you appreciate the more important things in life. You show confidence.
I've read some good openers here, but only a few are worthy of quality points. You get my third 'Opener Quality Point' of the day.

I totally second that !! This question plays in my life as well, so I don't have to make anything up when talking to women...it all comes easy and natural..
Quality point worthy !!

Excellent opinion opener, plus a prepared two-way neg. It may also lead into an IOI like "What do you do?" Then, you can give her funny job answers.

Work related areas you would use this. Shopping centres bars where people go for drinks after work. dont forget people have to have lunch at work.

how about if we relate money vs relationship
i.e would you prefer a double raise but as a result you will be posted in acity away from your boy friend
i have used this not as an opener but in eliciting values. i think it can work as well as an opener as it widens the choices of neg. if she choses money you can call her a bitch, or mone minded or simply "you have lost me even before our relationship began"
however real beauty of "money vs interesting job" is it is more suitable in day games, hired guns etc. you get my quality point

I am in India right now. I just quit my job after saving a ton of cash to travel and start a business. I am 24 and am torn between a great opportunity to start a company or travel the world while I am young.
I am going to use this openner the rest of the trip.
Golden. Well Done.

Loved it.
In part two you can neg her and in part three you raise her value by complementing her on her realistic views or passion about life and goals.

It's great. Just make sure you tell her your story so she knows why you just randomly asked her.
You can also screen/neg her if she's too materialistic (as you did). I think this could work. It has the CONFLICT element to it.
Quality point.

Hi.
Love this opener as it helps you suss out what kind of characteristics she possesses and you can tell if she's a shallow materialistic waste of space or a woman of substance worth bangin'.
Quality point from me and will use this asap.

There's a reason so many people are giving you points... this really taps into stuff that is always in people's heads and taps right into somebody's personality. One point!

Hey
A point for you, this one is very useable!
However, a slight concern may be the pickup rule of not mentioning work as a topic of conversation. I guess it's a good opener that should be quickly steered into the realm of dreams, ambitions, goals, life etc.
Nice

Cool opener! A lot of threads can spin off from this opener. You can even extend it to work / money vs. extra time off. Extra time off for traveling the world for example. You then change the topic to travel.
Or you can launch into a 'we have to make TOO many choices in today's society!' discussion and say that we should not PLAN everything in advance. Just LET things HAPPEN and be SPONTANEOUS. Then you say "But..are you spontaneous? Cause otherwise I can't hang with you!" You can bust them on not being spontaneous or chilled.

This was one of my favorites to bring out when I first got out of school when it was a real issue in my life. Might be a good time to put it back in the play book. Only difference I incorperated was I made it between money and the job I was passionate about. I actually got a more positive response from the job I loved than the money if I could sell the emontion involved.

This opener can relate to a lot of people...like me. So it would be a lot easier to use.
Great job!

Anyone have some examples about jobs and stuff they could apply here?

The idea of getting a job you have passion for is something that is relevant to many people. Should this be used as a routine to stack on top of an opener? I tend start with simpler openers like the clothing store recommendation or small talk like the world cup. Is it better to start with a simple opener or an interesting one like money choice?
